GOD AND MAN

God would have not been able to relate with a man even when He is the creator of man if He had not made for Himself a provision. What is the provision that God made for Himself to relate with a man? The provision God made was His image and that is why He came as Jesus Christ who is the express image of God.

1 Corinthians 11: 7

for a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of man.

Genesis 5: 1

This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.

God made man be continued after the fall, but how can a man walk in it, since he has chosen to walk out of it?

Genesis 9: 6

Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed, for in the image of God He made man.

You can see the provision God made for Himself and that was why Jesus came.

Colossians 1: 15

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

God was able to come down to visit Adam because He has a form that fits perfectly with Adam’s and that was why Adam was able to in the first place recognize His voice and that was why He still came as the Last Adam to restore the first Adam’s seed that fell when Adam fell. We are all born in a fallen nature and nothing could change that except God Himself and that was He gave Himself as a gift.

In the dimension of God, He operates as grace unto man and in the dimension of man, God became a man who operates with the very truth to set man free. Therefore, the bond between God and man is LOVE and the reality of God’s love is made manifest in the relationship. The word “YAHWEH” implies a relationship and He can only be Yahweh to only those who have a relationship with Him (John 1: 12) and because we have a relationship with Him, if we ask anything in His name (John 14: 13), He shall provide (Matthew 7: 7) and He will do, but in His name (John 14: 14). If there is anything the LORD honour, it is simply His name, but He honours His Word more than His name (Psalm 138: 2).

The integrity of God is in His name and His name is higher than any other name in heavens and on earth.

WHAT WE HAVE LEFT

Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”

Revelation 2: 4

Nevertheless, I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

The truth about our faith in God is a compelling force and there is no other compelling force that must drive our lives outside the love of God because it does not drive us from outside, but inside. The problem has always been, we don’t even know what love is. Love is what is supposed to rule our hearts and when love rules; we will stay with love (1 John 4: 8).

2 Corinthians 5: 14

For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus, that if One died for all, then all died.

We are obligated to right the wrong in our world and when we do that, our world will glitter with love, instead of inordinate lusts that will lead to gross wickedness amongst ourselves. If anything is missing from our knowledge of the wisdom of God, it is simply loved and it is this love that we have left and that is why, we are now living in fears (1 John 4: 18), because in our hearts, God is no longer resident because God is love and anyone who does not love, does not know God.

Anyone who does not know God cannot love, do you know God?

Why did God give Solomon wisdom? (1 Kings 4: 29)

Were there no wise men that are more intelligent than Solomon?

Wisdom is not intelligence, and must not be misinterpreted for…

Why did God choose to choose Solomon?

God alone knows why He does His things the way He chooses to, we may want to try explaining why, but Him alone knows and no man can truly tell why, because He is God.

God gave Solomon wisdom because wisdom is the principal thing and it is profitable to direct. Being a king in the capacity of Solomon, continuing the mandate of his father David who was a man after God’s own heart, require great wisdom and to Solomon, grace was released in the form of knowledge and understanding to be able to govern the people whom God has put in His custody in the ways of the LORD, so as not to depart from the standard laid by His father whom God has given the complete design and plan.

We must work according to the pattern of God’s Word and this defines the right design and plan as ordained that must not be thwarted.

David was a man after God’s own heart, while Solomon became by grace a man in God’s heart because His father searched after God and found God and desire to build a house for God, but having found God, he received the perfect design and shut his son Solomon into the heart of God to build the house he wanted the building, but was not permitted to, because he was a man of war with too many blood on his hand.

Your life can only become a seed of faith that will produce fruit of righteousness when wisdom dies with you, it will raise you into a dimension of procreation of your kind. Therefore, the truth cannot be destroyed when it is spoken and administered as the message of God’s wisdom called love. The gospel will prevail as peace even amidst wars.
