Julia's POV: I unlocked the seatbelt and got out when we arrived at my house. There's this build-up in the pit of my stomach, but it doesn't feel bad. I actually enjoy it. "Let's go!" I told Marcelo as I raced towards the front door. When I unlocked the door, what greeted me wasn't my family but darkness. "Hello?" I got inside, "Mom? Dad? Kai? I'm home!" I didn't expect a grand surprise, but I didn't also didn't think it was going to be this depressing. "Where is everyone?" I ask Marcelo. "Oh shoot," he mumbles under his breath. "I think I forgot to tell your parents we're dropping by this weekend." I look at him, "Seriously?" "Sorry." It's disappointing that I can't see my family immediately, but I won't complain.
