Chief Inspector Jackson ‘Papa’ sat in the local police office specially prepared for him to carry out the investigations into the child trafficking case going through the voluminous files containing documents of reports and records of the operations related to births and deaths at the Matter Maternity Hospital. He knew very well that this was not going to be an easy task. He had been accompanied from the Nairobi headquarters by a team of three other cops who were specialized in different fields of the investigations. As they pored through the papers one name kept on creeping back in several reports that indicated either a missing or dead child after birth of; the name of Dr. Fred Otis was a constant factor.
