“You have done yourself very well,” Fred repeated what he had told Stanley earlier in the former’s office as both men walked into the dim lights of the Turquoise Night Club for their clandestine meeting as agreed that morning.
“I Thank to Providence for it my friend,” Stanley said with a lot of gratitude in his voice.
“You can now see that the education one gets doesn’t let them down if well used.”
Stanley couldn’t understand what Fred was driving at. This small talk must be a recipe for something monumental.
“Getting an education and using it is one thing but we always should know how to network with others for the same education to be of any use. We also have to have exposure,” Stanley said for lack of anything substantive to comment on.
