The Hotel Santora offered the best Swahili cuisine in town.  Situated two kilometers from the town center to the east, the hotel built in the mid seventies was surrounded by leisure – providing amenities; two Olympic - sized swimming pools, a world class golf course and even a leisure park dotted with the great baobab trees.
