Electricity passes through me the moment she touches me. For a brief moment it’s like my heart looses its beat and stops for a second, for the time it needs to readjust and start beating again, in the rhythm of her world.
A small smile tugs the corners of her lips and I hold her gaze, unspoken words passing through us. I do trust her. It might be irrational, senseless, but I don’t care.
