Chapter 19: Healing New Moon
Patricia POV
We chased after Alpha Zayden. He kept stopping to sniff the bodies lying on the ground in hopes of finding survivors.
Every once in a while he would find one and begin howling for me to come and heal the body.
After we had crossed over around five mile of land he stopped near a line of trees, laid down, and started whining.
He then let loose several loud grieving howls. It paid my heart to see him this way. I laid down beside him and began nuzzling him with my wolf muzzle. I licked his face and his head with my tongue, giving him wolf kisses. Alpha Derrick laid down beside him on his other side to offer support also.
I shifted back into human form because I could mind link either of them since I wasn’t part of either pack.
