no pain

What was happening, his legs were not hurting again. "What did you do to me. My legs are not hurting anymore". "Excuse me". Christine said as she heard the boy talk about her doing something to to him. "I didn't do anything to you". "But my legs are not hurting again". "So how am I the cause". Christine replied. "You were the only one that touched me, so you must be the reason. Are you like some super hero. Like a secret super hero". The boy said. Christine scoffed and looked around. "Listen boy. I did nothing to you. And how the hell are you not feeling any pain. I mean blood is dripping from you leg. And the weight of the shelf is on you. So how come your not feeling any pain." "I don't know. Probably because you did something to me. I felt my legs go hurt in a second then it went good then I felt nothing. I don't even feel the weight of the shelf". The boy smiled like he had just won a candy. Did she really do something to him. She remembered the Sparks but doubted it. That must have been a light she just mistakenly took as a spark. The ambulance crew came in few minutes later and Christine was glad they came in the time they did. At least they spared her from having to explain to this poor child that she knew nothing of what ever he thought. "Okay people move away we will take care of this. The situation is now under control". The paramedics pushed away some students so they could reach the accident scene. "Wait, don't let them take me away. They'll hurt me". The boy held on to Christine's cloth as she attempted to get up and let the ambulance handle it. Christine sighed and rubbed his cheek. She bent down back. "Don't worry whatever your name is*. "It's Dray". The small boy cut her off and Christine smiled. Even when he was scared he was still a talkative. "The paramedics will attend to you and they will make sure you get the right treatment for your leg. So don't worry. You're going to walk in that leg normally". "But it's healed. I don't feel any pain. Help me tell them that." Christine sighed. "What if I told you i was a zombie, who hunts children at night." Christine waited patiently for the boys answer. Drake's eyes widened. "That's a lie". He scoffed. Christine smiled. "You don't believe me right". Drake nodded. "Now think about it. If you tell them you are misteriously healed. And there's blood on your leg to prove the accident was severe. And everybody was present when it happened and they knew nobody could have survived it. Without getting really injured. Now tell me. Would you believe that person was already healed even though his leg was still under the shelf." Drake's eyes dawned in understanding. No I would never believe it. But I'm not lying. I'm not feeling any pain". "I'm not saying your lying Dray. I can see for my self Cause you don't look like somebody that got injured or that a huge shelf stocked with books fell on him. I'm saying no one would believe you. Cause if I wasn't in this position with you. I would never believe it. Now act natural and beahave like someone in pain. But not to much pain though. Don't overreact". Drake nodded and focused on making his face look like that of someone that was experiencing a lot of pain at once. the crew used a machine to push the shelf off and rushed Drake on the bed. Drake looked at Christine for help and Christine smiled. "I'll come visit you Dray. Don't worry. And I'll bring five candy bars". Drake eyes widened. "Do you promise. I'll be waiting for it". Christine smiled. "I pinky promise." She watched as they wheeled him out. The boy sure loved candy a lot. Robert came to her immediately. "What caused the shelf to fall". He asked Christine who rolled her eyes "everything that stands can fall Robert. And it's not like the shelf had some kind of thing to hold it from falling you know. I thought you were smarter than this". Robert frowned as she walked away. The girl was to sassy for her own good. "And by the way. Stop following me around". Christine said as an afterthought but Robert ran towards her. "I am your friend right and friends stick together. so I'm following you every where you go". Christine frowned. "Maybe I'm going to turn you into an enemy if you don't stop following me. It's weird having someone new as my friend. So stop following me or I'll make you regret it". Christine said and went out of the library. The crowd was now dispersing and everyone went back to what they were doing. Robert sighed. He was stuck with her no matter what and besides. He needed her to find the rest. Christine sat down and Robert also sat. Christine sighed and Robert also sighed. "What the hell boy. You've been repeating everything I do. It's getting annoying". Robert laughed. At least he got her attention. Gareth watched them as they entered the class. Christine didn't even look affected at all that he wasn't with her. And here he was sulking up that he wasn't with her. He suddenly wished there was a way to go back in time then maybe he would have said something else other than throw yourself out of the car. Even though Carolyn hadn't earned the right for him to support her. He just felt like shouting at Christine for what she said. He knew they weren't together. But oh come on. Who would see Christine and not fall for her. Almost every body in school thought they were together. But he knew Christine never took their friendship that way.
