Chapter twenty one Tammy ran her hands through her hair and groaned. God, pick the call you damn fool. She dialed the number again and the call still went into voicemail. She looked at the time again and became more worried. It just strucked one and Arthur was still not picking. Arthur never slept out. He never does. He always makes it home no matter what. But now he hasn't and he was not picking he's calls. This made Tammy more worried. Something was wrong. Something was wrong somewhere. She couldn't seat nor stand she was walking tho and fro. Sometimes she walked to the door, checked the window or dialed he's number and it kept on going to voicemail. George dialed his daughter's number again and it just kept on ringing. He sighed. He was going to hate himself if something happened to Carolyn. Could Carolyn be attempting to punish him or what. He remembered how angry she was when she left his office. Was she not staying home again to prove she was still angry. No Carolyn would never do that. He's daughter might act tough on the outside but on the outside she was a complete softy. George looked around his living room. What would his dead wife think when something bad happens to Carolyn, she would never forgive him. He couldn't afford to loose another part of his life. Carolyn was the only person he had left and he regretted ever not telling her that. If anything happened to Carolyn he would never forgive himself.
