"why wouldn't I be" he sighed. "For goodness sake Carolyn I was worried sick. Do you know how much I thought about calling all my enemies to either threaten them or beg them to release you, I was so worried something had happened to you, and you're here asking me if I was scared?".
"You were really worried" Carolyn again.
"Are you really serious, are you really asking me if I was worried".
"You were really worried?".
"What sort of questions are you asking me. I was scared Carolyn. I thought something had happened to you".
Carolyn lunged at her father and hugged him tight.
He was startled but then accepted the jug and patted her bag.
