The Alpha within

Alie

~I was lost in my thoughts again when he opened the hotel room door. I must have looked like a child in this shirt, it was so big. It hung just past my butt and the sleeves went half way down my arms. Suddenly I felt so silly standing here, It’s smelled like him which did something to me I didn’t really understand but it calmed me. I seen his eyes grow darker and narrow like he wasn’t impressed and I just stood there wide eyed waiting for him to move or speak or do something his staring was getting pretty intense and it was making me nervous again.

“Let’s go little wolf” was all he said turning to leave an breaking the silence. I was kinda disappointed, for some reason I wanted him to kiss me and touch me like he did earlier. I’m

Not sure why I liked it, I usually hated attention from boys but he was so different. He made my body feel like no one ever had before and I craved it. I craved the way he made my body heat up and tingle with one touch, how soft and perfect his lips feel against mine and how a simple kiss sent shocks like fireworks threw me. My body ached for him to be close to me and I couldn’t understand it but I wanted him. I wanted him so bad it was almost all like I needed him… he turned his head to me and growled

“there’s no time for this little wolf let’s go”

could he read my mind??? My eyes widened even more if that’s possible but I headed to the car and I did my best to push him and the thoughts to the back of my mind, I had other bigger things to worry about and a boy wasn’t it.

We had been driving for a while and I’ll admit it was nice to sit in silence and enjoy the view of the trees zooming as we passed by them and the small views of sparkling water peeking at me threw the trees. It was a good distraction from the horrific things that happened. We didn’t pass any major land markers so it was hard to determine exactly where we were but I know we had been driving for at least an hour now headed south away from the city. The road had turned from pavement to gravel and the trees got thicker and I could no longer see water behind them. I looked in front of me and seen what looked like a castle in the distance, was hard to see it clearly from here but it looked huge and made of stone. Is that my uncles?

“This is your home now my little wolf, your uncles pack.”

He spoke up as if reading my mind, that was the second time he had done that… “It’s beautiful” I said in awe. The trees started to separate and open up, there were huge trees scattered about the beautiful grass covered hills and plains. There was a small pond surrounded by a beautiful garden. At the edge of the tree line there were small cottage like houses lined up like a small village, and a huge gym looking area… but who has a gym outside that big? I thought to my self. It looked like a sanctuary here. It was only a few minutes and we had made it all the way down the gravel road and were now sitting parked in front of the castle. There was a well dressed man standing at the entrance, he had grey hair about to his shoulders but brushed back away from his face, he looked tall compared to the few younger looking men standing with him, he looked kind but he looked like he was pained or saddened by something.

“That’s your uncle Raphael, our alpha.” He said then sighed “you ready for the first day of the rest of your life little wolf?” He asked me and I was nervous of course but ready. I needed answers. “Ready as I’ll ever be” I said and we got out of the car.

~ we had finally arrived and of course Raphael was there waiting to greet us. How was he going to feel knowing the events that had taken place? How was he going to feel knowing I was mated to his niece if she accepted me? Even if I didn’t show my emotions well, I was worried. I was worried for more reasons then I cared to think about in this moment. One thing at a time I thought to my self taking a deep breath and getting out of the car. I walked around and helped Alie out of the car.

“What’s is she wearing” Raphael boomed from behind me.

“Uh I’ll explain once we are inside alpha, I’m sorry” I said hoping he would give me a chance to explain things, I have to agree yes she wasn’t wearing much but we didn’t have time to grab her anything.

“Very well get her inside quickly I don’t want the rest of the pack to see her in such a manner” he said and he just walked away. Why was he so cold, this was his own blood and he didn’t even want to hug her or speak to her? I grabbed her hand and lead her into the building. We followed him up the stairs and into his office. I could tell she was feeling out of place and scared possibly but I had to follow orders, there’s was no time to coddle her.

“So Alie, I’m sure the boys here have explained to you who I am already.”

“Your my uncle, and alpha of wolves” she said I had to admit her lack of knowledge was kind of adorable.

“Alpha of wolves, you really don’t know much do you” he laughed “well sit we will discuss things. Beta you and Nick can go inform the rest of the pack that we will be having a dinner to welcome my niece this evening” he demanded and as much as I didn’t want to leave her I didn’t want to tell him I was her mate yet I wasn’t even sure if she would accept me.

“Yes alpha” I replied and turned to leave

“One more thing, have a room made up for her and some clothes sent to her new room” Raphael said and I nodded and left the room to do what I was asked. ~
