Chapter 28 Simmonds pointed a gun at Dane, and the threat was enough to cause Sean’s mind to go numb. He didn’t know if it was the agent’s sudden arrival that froze his brain, or the fact he was making a clear threat, or that Sean knew he was the kind of man who’d kill without a second thought, but he found he couldn’t move.
