Her fear filled every part of my body, several pack members followed behind. The rouges scent was everywhere. Her mind screamed out. Noah! Please help me! I felt his anger radiate out his link. We are coming Tori, what’s happening? Please answer me little sister. Please. Her voice filled the air, a blood curdling scream. “Ahh! You stupid b***h!” A guttural voice screeched. Faint hissing squeezes out of a badly beaten leopard. The wolf holding it down crushing its wind pipe. “Let him go! Your killing him! Please! Help me!!” Through the clearing a large grey wolf rips the old man off her. The pack breaks through and make quick work of the trash. The second man releases Tori enough for her to crawl away. Finn lays motionless on the ground as the others kill the rest of the rouges. “No…Finn…” Even as pain rips through her stomach and shakes from the lingering memory of the old ones’ touch. She felt like crawling out of her skin. Finns small shape stilled against hers, trembling she starts humming. “Tori…stop.” Her voice quivered as she held her friend. “I can save him, please I can, I know it.” The others gathered around her. Noah approached her side, reaching for the small creature. A growl escapes from her chest. Don’t you dare touch him! Any of you! Her telepathy has gotten stronger her voice fills all our heads. She starts humming louder and rocking him. From her a white light illuminates the dark around us pure white energy flows all around us and into the small leopard. Focus Tori we can do this. Her wolf encourages her. From the other perspective she is glowing in a bright white light. They stare at her in disbelief. Noah and Ezra stood in shock at the overwhelming strength of the power radiating from her in such a short span of time. When the energy stopped and the poured into the small leopard he sat up blinking at her. She smiled and nuzzled his head. “I told you I could save him.” Her smile faded as she fell back against Noah who had moved to kneel by her. She sank into him, he picked her up and held her tightly. For the first time since she reached out to him he felt completely at peace. She was alive, she was safe, and she was with him. Even if she hated him. He held her close and kissed the top of her head. Her wolf purred against his. No matter how made she maybe, she still loved him.
