“I heard you yell. You were screaming Megan’s name...”
“No... I didn’t,” Stacy looked away, “You must have heard it wrong...”
“You were screaming your lungs out. I’m not deaf,” the man approached Stacy, cast her a glance, “My phone. Give it back to me.”
Stacy was a bit embarrassed. But she could only give his phone back while smiling awkwardly, “Someone just called you. I only wanted to pick it up and take a look.”
“Who called me?” Ivan took the phone, giving her a look.
Ivan just showed up all of a sudden. Stacy didn’t even have the time to delete the record.
She thus couldn’t lie about it because Ivan would find out.
“Well... It was a call from Megan... I don’t know why she called though...”
“You didn’t talk to her?”
“She barely said anything before hanging up the phone.
