CHAPTER ONE

The day begins like any other for Sarah Williams a young and intelligent lady living in a quiet and hopeful town in Los Angeles City.The morning sunlight breaks through a small opening at her window and shines toward her as she lies down in her bed, struggling to get up and wish for

another night to come, grumbling as she said to herself it's another day to hope and fight for.

Sarah had always dreamt of finding true love,a passionate romance that would sweep off her feet and always with a glowing smile,a laugh that would take over her worries and make her feel that tears do not exist, little did she know that the true love she dreamt about would

take a bitter sweet turn.

At her favourite coffee shop, Sarah sat alone sipping her lukewarm latte contemplating the

fickle nature of faith as there was a little rain drop,she was lost deep in thoughts about her

love romance would be perfect.

She heard a voice opposite her ordering for same coffee she requested for, when she look it was a young handsome man,he was tall ,dark skin and muscular too, Sarah eyes could not believe what she saw.The perfect taste of a man she have always wanted for herself,she looks at him as he sip his coffee slowly and scroll through his phone.

He was about to pay for his coffee when they told him that the Lady opposite him had paid, he walked over to Sarah as he was approaching Sarah, she was filled with happiness and curiosity of what to say when he comes,

"He Said Good morning miss,

My name is Samuel Johnson thanks for the coffee you paid that I took",

She replied with her sweet voice,

"You welcome my name is Sarah Williams".

(Samuel Johnson is an engineer who works in a construction company and was regarded as one of the best engineer in the company and is happily married to Anna Johnson with two children Gabriel and gift.he was newly transferred to a new city to supervise a new construction of a railway station).

They exchanged pleasantries and contact and departed.

Samuel left for work early over a board meeting to discuss how to expand the company and build a good name, integrity and a reliable performance in carrying out a successful project work It was decided at the meeting that he will be the one to supervise the project construction.

It stated at the transfer letter that he will have to travel a day ahead for the commencement of the project work to make sure the materials needed are complete and also the machine to be used are in good condition to start the work, little did he know a test will be made to him and the love he once confess to Anna with a vow to love her better and grow old with her will test sour in his heart.

Samuel's wife, Anna Johnson a beautiful young lady who works in a business firm and holds the position as an accountant,she is the quiet and perfect wife despite the little misunderstanding between them .

Samuel came back from work early unlike other days,his wife was surprised to see him at home,

And she asked with a smile "my love what brought you home so early unlike you"

He jokingly replied to her,I requested for a day leave from my boss to come home early and spend more time with my wife and children.

Anna playfully hit him on the chest and said,

"my love be serious about what brought you home these early today",he kissed her on the forehead and said

"after dinner I will tell you about it,So am I free to come inside the house to rest" "yes of course you are",she smiles.

After dinner was served and she finished cleaning the dishes, setting back the chairs with the help of the children,

Samuel called his family to the sitting room, and he had something to discuss with them. He gave his wife the transfer letter and the smile on her face gradually fades away and she said another transfer again,I thought you were transfer early this year and we followed you up here as a family trying to fit in here, And here comes another transfer letter, it's even written in the letter that you have a day to move in there.

Mom where is Dad going to, are we going with him,.

Gabriel, Anna said, I don't know yet but I think he is going alone because of your school.

Samuel how will the children meet up with their school activity if we continue moving like this

and what will happen to my work if I move in with you,I don't like being idol . I want to work and support you with the family expenses.

"Please Dad don't go without us",

his children said to him .

Samuel said with a calm voice it is not easy for me moving within a short period I remember we plan to go on a vacation after the children close for the term and if i don't go I will lose my job, but if I go I will be promoted with no more short notice transfer again but me by your side

everyday. And about moving in with me I have given it deep thoughts that I will be going alone because the project is only for some months and I will be back for us soon.

This is the first time you are moving to another town without us she said, how will you cope over there and fit in their lifestyle and weather.

Samuel said don't worry I will be fine,all I want is for you to be strong for me and take good care of the family in my absence.
