CHAPTER 5The morning was misty, and the ocean was on the wrong side. But so was the door, and the two walls that were facing Hubert's head and feet. And what was even more remarkable: they all had migrated in the same direction. As he was waking up, hovering uncertainly between inner and outer fog, Hubert discovered that by rotating his bed, exchanging the positions of head and feet, he would be able to restore, for the most part, the familiar arrangement of things.
