Chapter 1

I get to school very early on Monday to avoid dad's nagging. He has made it a habit to make me frustrated every morning before I leave for school but today will be an exception because he won't see me when he wakes up.

I place my bag on my seat and tie my hair into a dirty bun . Jenny and Linda , my two best friends enter and the come and sit beside me.

Hey Kathy, who are you trying to look beautiful for said jenny. I'm already beautiful okay, I just want to look presentable since am the class president.

Hahaha, you know that no one takes this class serious because we are the class with the lowest grades so stop this nonsense and let us think , Linda said and chuckled.

I shake my head and follow them to the cafeteria to buy breakfast. We order coffee and croissant and after that we go back to the class.

The class teacher enters the class and becomes angry again because of how messy the class is. Whiles some are chatting on their phones, others are doing make up and the rest are either sleeping or eating.

No one is seen with a book. She stomps out of the class in anger and goes to the principals office to complain.

The bell for break rings and I ran out of the class to sneak a peak at my crush. Everyone in my class knows about my feelings for the school genius Kyle Waston.

He's a male god, intelligent, suave and many more. I really want to propose to him but I fear his cold demeanor and rejection.

So the only thing I can do now is to admire him from a distance. My friends always tease me for being the frog who eyes the swan.
