I said, "I do not love him, I hate him," she smiled and said, "I hated his father when I met him, he was an arrogant jackass, but I eventually let him into my heart." He said, "My mother meant well," and sat down asking me to join him, I hesitated and Dom asked, "Why do you keep making things difficult when I am trying?"

I turned to walk off, and he held my hand and said, "If that is what you want, I will make sure you lack for nothing," I said, "Yes, please, the quicker, the better," pulling my hand out of his, I linked him as I walked away, I won't be coming to dinner since we had talked. Pax linked me, "Meet me, love," I turned to see Dominic watching me before he walked off, and I changed into my dragon and headed off to the cave.

I turned to her and said, "She is taking it as she always takes everything," she smiled and kissed my lips, she said, "At least we won't share a Palace." She was right, and I hugged her explaining everything that happened and how it would be, Aremia would stay in Palace One, Ruby in Palace Two. It was complicated, but the elders approved it to satisfy Ruby, who they had preferred to be Queen because of the treaty, they had accepted Aremia. I wanted to do right by Aremia, but she was making everything so difficult, "Maybe, I should do things differently with her," I thought.

Ruby always knew how to cheer me up, she sat on my couch, and we talked about her day and the plans for the second coronation, including a wedding. Ruby came back as the pain intensified before stopping and starting up again, she placed the pendant around my neck and the pain went away. She looked at me concerned, I touched her face and she leaned into my hand and asked, "Are you okay?" I mind-linked her, "Yes, I have something to do, we will talk later," she nodded before leaving. I got up and got some wine, I walked to the balcony looking in the direction she flew off to, Theo was angry and said, "Find out who touched our mate," before retreating to the background. I was burning up with fury as it got later, I saw the food on my desk but couldn't focus, I got a link from one of my guards saying, "The Queen is back safely, Your Majesty." I smiled, got up, and headed to her quarters, I needed to know who would dear touch what was mine.

Aremia was on her bed, she wasn't happy to see me and I held my anger back, I asked, "Who did you f**k today?" She froze, opening her eyes wider. She knew she was caught but blew it off and yelled, "What does it matter? I let her go when I saw the tears run down her cheeks, I felt her burning hatred for me, she let her guard down, she was also in love with someone else, I had f****d up with her so badly. I wheeled Theo in trying to calm the situation, she looked at me as if she had the chance, she would kill me. I asked, "Do you hate me that much, what have I ever done to you?" She screamed, "What have you done to me, really? You killed my father," she started beating her tiny hands on my chest, she was pissed off that the room got colder.

Aremia was putting up a fight, nothing I couldn't handle, when Pax bore into us and yelled, "Stop, you two," we looked at the back of the castle, it was ruined and some of our people were hurt.

We both landed and changed back, I nodded for someone to give her a blanket, but she refused it and walked back across the burnt garden butt naked into the Palace. I mind-linked all males, "Anyone who stares at my wife, I will poke their f*****g eyes out," everyone looked into the sky and Theo smiled, loving the feisty dragon. Pax bowed and acknowledged before giving orders to repair this part of the castle in time for the next coronation. I looked up and saw Aremia now in a robe looking at me, she mind-linked me, "f**k you, Dominic, and stay away from me," she walked away, I smiled because it was going to take me a while to make her fall in love with me once I broke whoever touched her f*****g neck.
