The Manticore landed, narrowly missing her with its swipe as it did so before leaping away to the left once again. Alara didn’t wait for it to land this. She dropped the empty revolver and dashed towards where it looked to land. The beast landed as it had twice before in a crouch while spreading its wings wide to its side before it tracked Alara’s sprint and raised a claw to swipe at her. Unfortunately for it, she was out of its reach when she seized hold of one of its outstretched wings with both hands. Grasping as tightly as she could, Alara pushed the Channel fully into it. The beast spasmed when lightning arced across its skin and its spine, singeing and cooking the flesh that it passed through as it flowed like a river into the Manticore.
