Alessia Mancini I woke to the gentle light of dawn filtering through the curtains, my body pleasantly sore and tangled in silk sheets. Giovanni's arm was draped possessively across my waist, his warm breath tickling the nape of my neck. For a moment, I allowed myself to savour the feeling of safety and belonging.
