Alessia Mancini The acrid scent of cigarette smoke suddenly cut through the tension, jarring me from my thoughts. I whirled around, my eyes narrowing as I spotted two men sauntering through the partially open shutter, lit cigarettes dangling from their lips. "Are you f*****g kidding me?" I hissed, my earlier composure evaporating. I stormed towards them, my heels clicking ominously against the concrete floor. "Hey! You two!" They looked up, startled by my approach. I could see the moment recognition dawned in their eyes, followed quickly by confusion.
