Pryde’s AI controlling the vehicle suddenly chimed a collision warning as another vehicle suddenly appeared in front of him, barrelling down the narrow road toward him.
It was a sleek roadster in bright red and he noticed mini gatling guns pop up from hidden recesses in the bodywork just behind the front lights.
Aimed above him, the guns spat out a barrage of shells at the oncoming chopper.
Pryde swerved around this new addition and spun his car around to face the chopper, which was now hovering as it had to deal with two targets.
Accessing his rockets, he fired a salvo at it as the other car continued to fire the mini gatling guns.
He had no idea who this was who had decided to join in this fight on his side, but he was grateful for the help.
