It’s a He?

I felt the firm grip it had on my leg and immediately stood frozen. My thoughts were all over the place when a faint voice came from behind me, "Please, don’t let anyone know", it said. I was shocked, no, flabbergasted! It was one thing for it to know how to fly an aircraft, but talking? I turned to face the creature, my expression visibly shocked. For the first time I saw it’s eyes. I wouldn’t call them eyes. The were very huge and round and had an innocence to them of which even I couldn’t decipher. Those big eyes were looking right into my soul and they seemed to be begging me to not let anyone know of it’s presence. I squatted before initiating a conversation. "What are you?", I asked him, running my fingers over his scaly body. It trembled quietly for a while and replied, "I’m R2B02B from planet Clept. I’m here on a mission.......cough.......cough......to warn you", it seemed to have wasted its breath as it lay quietly after. I was shocked. Aliens were real? They existed? So basically Stephen Spielberg was right? Many questions in my head and yet I was dumbfounded to voice them out. I tried to remember it’s name, I really did but I couldn’t. In the background I heard the school bell ringing, signifying the need of recreation period. I sighed before pointing to where I was eating my burger earlier,"Wait for me". I told him that before jogging into class. I took a seat and looked around. Everyone looked normal and it seemed as if I was the only one who saw the changes in the sky. Nervously, I clutched at the pendant around my neck to relax myself, something I always found myself doing under such circumstances. The sky had returned to normal now, erasing all traces of the bizarre happenings of the day. School ended and I was the first to pack my things and dash out of the classroom. I went underneath the bleachers in the abandoned park. I felt safe letting the alien wait for me there because no one ever passed by that place since a new park had been built. The creature was trying to fix its aircraft, and for the first time I saw it standing. It’s scales gleamed golden in the afternoon sun, and those pointy things at its back looked intimidating. It was only a head taller than me and unlike what was seen in movies it had this happy vibe around it. I stood by the side watching as it hummed an unfamiliar tune. Sending my presence it turned around and boy...........ummm.......well.... it was definitely a he!
