Whatever the creature inside the aircraft was was definitely none of my business. But yet my heart couldn’t help but feel some sort of strange connection to it. Braving myself, I pulled at the hand on the figure in the aircraft and slowly but surely it’s entirety came into view. I screamed! That was definitely not a human being.
The creature lay on the floor lifelesly and if it wasn’t for the pointy things at its back heaving up and down occassionally I would have thought it a goner. As usual, no one in the entire school even heard my scream much less to check up on me. I was the invisible sheep of the school and of my family. I pulled up my glasses further up before patting on the back of the creature. Was it an alien? Was it a monster? My thoughts were all over the place.
I glanced up towards the sky to see if there were more of such falling spacecrafts but saw nothing. Although I still found it rather bizzare that the sky remained in the same frightening condition it was before this 'thing' landed on Earth. Seeing as though the creature was still not moving, I turned to go the school’s health office to get an expert when it touched the lower part of my leg.
