The Last of Them

I glanced away from it so as to retain my innocence before walking towards him.

"You said something about us being in danger?", I asked him, putting my bag on the floor. His originally sunny expression turned gloomy and he slowly nodded. I felt an inexplicable sense of fear at this, as I’ve always noticed that in movies it was never good for an alien to warn you.

I looked at him with a somber expression. He did same. Silence ensued for a good minute before suddenly voices of people screaming could be heard all around us. I was shocked and wondered if something had happened when the alien quickly pushed me into the aircraft and launched it.

I screamed more than I ever had and backed away from the creature. It was driving the aircraft with rapt attention and something seemed off. Hurriedly, I looked down the widows of the aircraft and what I saw left me traumatized. There creatures! Many of them. They all looked similar to the one I was with, but they were bigger, green, and looked very intimidating. I watched as they pointed their guns at the panicked humans and a blue light shot out from jt, and then the person who was shot disappeared. Just like that! The whole scene before me looked horrifying and there were screams and shouts and people tripping and stepping over others just to get away from them.

I farted my eyes away from that grusome scene and turned towards the pilot, my mouth agape. He pressed a button and the aircraft flew on what I presumed to be auto pilot before approaching me calmly.
