CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE
Mason was uneasy. He had lied about a simple thing. What kind of a man did that make him? He was sure he looked so stupid to Skye. Would he ever be taken seriously by her ever again? He did not know that for sure. He hoped the opposite would be the case, but what were the chances of that happening? Little to none. He could not blame her though. It was entirely his fault. He had nobody but himself to blame for it. Lying about what happened that night did not even help the situation. It only made a certain someone more distant from him and he did not like that.
