She did not understand why he came here to see her after the stunt he played the other day. She didn't know if she wanted to hear him out.
"To rub it on my face that you are dating Brenda?"
"How can you say that? You know that's not true. I'm not dating and..."
"I don't want to hear it. You should go to your Brenda." She turned her back on him.
"I didn't play with your heart, I didn't mess with you. It was all Brenda's doing, her alone. She is keeping tags on us, Skye, including Mason. She changed your name and placed hers because she was sure you would choose me. She knew what time you would arrive and how to ruin us.
