Skye did the unexpected. She jumped down the window, leaving the kidnappers and both Natalie and Tristan gobsmacked. Tristan rushed to the window and found Skye, lying helplessly in the pool of her own blood. The kidnappers took to their heels, not without taking the money with them.
They didn't say a word to each other. They were shocked. That woman, whatever she was called was really insane. Now, there was a reason her husband didn't care enough. She was really crazy.
