CHAPTER SEVENTY TWO
SKYE
By the time Fenella arrived home, Skye (Brenda) was already home. She was putting on a mask, one exactly like Skye's face. The mask was glued to the skin so no one could really tell it was a mask. The mask also came along with a voice box, one that sounded like Skye's voice. It was at this point Brenda appreciated technology.
"Babe, do you want to give mom a heart attack?" She asked and slumped tiredly on the sofa Skye was sitting on. Brenda rolled her eyes and shifted a little. Fenella noticed but kept quiet. Her eyes darted to Skye's wrist and she looked at her.
"Did you take off your favorite bracelet?" Fenella asked and Skye looked at her.
"What bracelet?" She asked. What was this girl up to now?
