Rowan rubbed his neck nervously.
“Uhm, Iris spoke to me about you agreeing to her living with me,” he said, and I was so surprised he had to thank me for that.
“You don’t need to thank me. You know that. She is your mate, and she has every right to want to move in with you,” I said seriously.
He nodded. “This means so much to me. I love Iris so much, and I don’t know what would have happened to me if I hadn’t found her.”
That actually brought a smile to my face. The way he said he loved her without even blinking an eye. “Thanks for loving her, and make sure you take care of her.”
He nodded. “With all of my heart.”
Then I remembered I had something to ask. “There is something I need to ask.”
He was alarmed when I said that. “What’s that? Is it something that requires my attention?”
