The journey back to the Weston Palace felt longer than usual. The entire time, an uneasy feeling sat heavily in my chest.
It was meant to be a surprise. I didn’t want any of the guys to get me. I just felt that I needed to go on my own. There was no need to drag them down here to fetch me.
By the time I arrived at the palace, the sun was already beginning to set.
The massive gates opened before me. As soon as I stepped out of the car, several servants rushed forward.
