My phone lit up instantly. My eyes widened the moment I saw the caller ID.

“Hello,” I said the moment I picked up. “How is Dad, Cain? Did you see him?”
He heaved a sigh. “Everything is now under control, but the pack is destroyed beyond repair, and it won’t be advisable for anyone to stay here,” he said.
He sounded so worried about the people of the pack. I’ll be so happy if he allows them to come to his pack. This pack is big enough to accommodate everyone.
“So what’s your solution?” I asked, hoping he would do what my heart wants.
“I’ve thought about it and made a decision to bring them back to the pack,” he said, and I was the happiest.
