Selene’s POV I stared at the glass. The water looked normal. Completely harmless. Yet every instinct inside me screamed not to touch it. Lydia stood there watching me with that fake smile plastered on her face. Waiting. I forced myself to smile back.“I’ll drink it in a minute.” Something flashed in her eyes. Disappointment.
