Chapter 8: Parents History Can Mess With Kids Future

I always heard your past can come back to bite you in the butt, but I never knew it could mess up your Childs future till today. Here I was sitting at the kitchen table eating dinner when mom and dad tell me that they had a secret to tell me. I said ok and put my fork down and started listening as mom and dad told me what I already overheard and then they told me something I didn't know and that was that the reason they left was because there was a war going on between all the packs and that one pack was demolished due to the war. As a way to protect their unborn child mom and dad fled to the human world and chose to live among the humans. Now though they had to tell me because I was sixteen and my mate would be looking for me and the odds were he was an alpha or an alphas son. I knew right then that I had to tell them that I found my mate and that indeed he was an alphas son, and when I did they accepted that, but asked to meet him. I said ok and called Blake. An hour later Blake was at the front door, along with his father and mother and little sister Elizabeth. As we all sat down to have a conversation, mom and dad seemed on edge and soon I found out why. It turned out that mom rejected Blakes dad as her mate for my father who was the Beta of our pack. Then to make up for that the wolf gods decided to make me and Blake mates. So there was real tension in the room. By the end of the meeting dad was screaming at me that I needed to reject Blake and Blakes father was doing the same. Then Blake was getting upset because dad was yelling at me; and that made Blake get up in dads face. So I told Blake to come on and we walked out of the house together to take a walk to calm us both down because I was truly upset myself. Then Blake said, "baby can we just run away together please, because I can't live without you, it angered my wolf just to hear our dads saying what they did." At that moment I truly decided to do exactly that which was to run away with him and be truly happy.
