I woke up by Shirley's side. I was relieved that she hadn't gone anywhere. The past few days had been incredibly emotionally draining. The worst was Peter claiming to be my father's illegitimate son. I wanted to destroy everything around me because I was so angry.
Shirley was still asleep. I looked at the wounds on her body that were starting to dry up. I felt so guilty for making her like this. I was really afraid that she would leave me and choose Peter. But I was wrong. Shirley really loved me with all her heart. I had wronged her.
I got out of bed. It was still early in the morning. Something is bothering my mind, and I need to deal with it quickly so I don't go crazy.
