My breath caught in my throat until I was sure it was about to be the death of me. I couldn't even make any sounds but I was trying to get out the word "why?" As in "why the hell did you stop? Get your sexy ass in here!" But again nothing was coming out. Just a strangled noise from deep in my throat. If anybody happened to walk by the room at that precise second it would be very easy to mistake that someone had broken into my room and was strangling the life out of me when Apollyn happened to accidentally catch them in the act but he was so shocked he was frozen in place. Of course, that's absolutely not what happened. I don't know what Apollyn's issue was, but I was so affronted at him stopping just short of coming inside, I was literally choking on air!
