"Well," I said, none to subtlety, as was my habit apparently, as I just opened the door to the room where Apollyn was and walked in uninvited, "where are we gonna host this little shindig?" I figured probably saying that he would know that I was saying yes to the wedding.   I had directed the question at Apollyn but instead, the reply came from some girl I had never met, whom I took note was in his room, with him, on her knees, by herself, in front of him. Again, I might mention, she was ALONE, ON HER KNEES, IN FRONT OF HIM, LOOKING VERY HAPPY WITH HERSELF. I might have been okay if she were old but she was young and she wasn't wearing a ring. I took a deep breath and smiled.   If it wasn't for the measuring tape thingy in her hand I woulda done ripped her hair out and scratched her eyes
