The Prince gets Angry

One fateful morning, whiles the prince was still sleeping, there was a commotion in the palace due to which he was awoken.
He went out to see what was happening. Before he could get to the throne room where the noise was coming from, a guard walked up to him and informed him that his presence was needed immediately by the king.
He doubled his footsteps in order to get there faster.
"I'm here father."
"It's good you are here, you need to take responsibility for my daughter since you have put her in the family way!" said a man that the prince did not notice.
He now scanned the people present and his eyes finally settled on a young maiden that stood with her head bowed whiles crying. He seemed to remember her too but he played dumb.
"I'm sorry who are you and what are you saying?"
"I'm Otoni and this is my daughter Ariala. She is pregnant and says you are the one responsible."
"Pft! Hahahaha! Father! Did you call me because of this? Then get ready to accommodate a lot of pregnant maidens since anyone can just come here and claim to be pregnant for me and you believe them."
"What do you mean?"
"But my prince!"
Both father and daughter exclaimed at the same time
""Excuse me young lady, do I know you? Have we ever met?"
The lady realized that the prince wanted to deny the pregnancy so she could only shed tears.
"You see the shame you have brought upon our family? You are a disgrace! Don't come back until you find the one responsible for this pregnancy!"
"But father the prince is responsible for this pregnancy!"
"Will you shut up! I'm not responsible for that thing you are carrying! Even if I did something with you, how do I know that you didn't have others besides me? Get out of here and don't let me see you ever again!"
The prince was so angry that he balled his fist so that he wouldn't punch the lady. He has never been in that situation before.
The father and daughter left the palace in a miserable state.
The king and his wife said nothing. They only watched the incident quietly, both keeping their thoughts to themselves.
