The Prince's Concern

Due to the long distance between the prince's kingdom and where he travelled to, it took him almost two days to get back. When he arrived, he went to look for his parents without wasting time.
"Father! Mother! I'm home!" He shouted without even seeing them yet. The royal couple were enjoying each other's company when they heard their son's voice.
His mother was very happy to know he is back after all they couldn't reach him when the king fell sick.
The prince finally saw his parents sitting in their chamber.
"Good day your majesties! I believe you have been doing well?" He tried joking a bit.
"Good day son!" Both his parents responded at the same time.
"How was your journey?"
The queen spoke this time whiles taking a good look at her son.
"My journey was ok just that I started feeling off at a point so I decided to come back. I can see you are fine, which means you are not the reason for how I feel. That leaves me with only one person."
He turned to look at his father after saying this. He walked closer to his father to observe.
"Sure enough, it's you."
The king was surprised and asked
"How do you know there's something wrong with me?"
He is surprised because they couldn't reach him when they tried to so how could he know?
"Father! I'm your son. I've known you since forever and I can tell if any of you is alright or not."
Not only the king was surprised but the queen too. After observing the king for a while the prince enquired about the health of his father and became very worried after hearing what happened.
"Take care of yourselves. Let me go and freshen up. I will be right back."
Whiles going back to his room, the prince was afraid of what could happen if the king doesn't recover from this illness. He was afraid of the responsibilities that would fall on him.
