AT 11:35, MARY COSGROVE’S connecting flight from Las Vegas, Nevada Southwest Airlines Flight #171, landed right on schedule. Two men wearing distinctive leather jackets with FBI printed on the back met her at the airport’s arrival area. They were standing with their feet apart, arms akimbo and wearing wide grins on their faces. It was Mary’s first indication that Andrea was alright.
The men moved forward to meet her half-way. The older of the two introduced himself as the Team Leader of the BAU. ‘I’m Special Agent Phelps, we spoke on the phone. And this is Special Agent Smyth.’ She shook hands with them with a hand as cold as ice.
Smyth led the way out, Phelps walked by her side to give her an update. ‘Andy’s in the Hospital with Banjo
