To her surprise, there was still a lot of Aussie slang she could still recall. They were about a foot from the entrance of the round-the-clock diner when they heard a commotion. An officer was down on his knees at the bottom of the stairs. Henry had pushed him down the few remaining steps and rushed across the street coming straight for Andy, screaming her name.
