Still fighting?" Sabrina said mockingly.
But that's not what the royalty focused on, but rather the most important things in the lives of the royalty.
Sabrina placed it in front of them.
"Why do you have our things?"
Sandra stammered, looking at
Her favorite book... It's more than just a book.
This book was given to her by her deceased cousin. This makes the book especially precious to her. Her cousin was important to her, so she valued the book just as much.
"What will you do with our things?"
Liander said worriedly, looking at the dagger given to him by his father since childhood. Liander cherished it because it symbolized his father's love for him.
Then
Alrira, Dustine, and Aira nervously flinched at the mention of their Crystal Bracelets. They all wore identical ones, given as gifts by their most cherished friend, Almira. These bracelets held immense value to them because they symbolized their deep connection to Almira, who was their closest friend. They were the only remaining reminders of her.
"How important is Ice's life to you?" Sabrina asked coldly, ignoring the royalty's question.
The royalty looked at her and all of them responded without hesitation,
"He's important to us because he's not just our group leader. He's also our friend."
"So these items are also important to you?" Sabrina said coldly. All the royalty nodded in response to her question.
"Then who is willing to sacrifice something precious to them to save Ice's life?" Sabrina asked.
Everyone gasped and couldn't answer Sabrina.
"These aren't the only memories Alrira has of us," Alli said, her voice filled with tears.
"And what about me? This dagger is very important to me. My father gave it to me," Liander said, his voice filled with resentment. The other royals felt the same way.
"So none of you can decide?" Sabrina challenged, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
No one could speak.
With a snap of her fingers, Era's bracelet burst into flames.
"No!"
"Aira screamed and involuntarily fell to her knees, losing her balance on the small rock where she stood, just like the other royals. They all froze, not knowing what to do, trembling with fear. Aira's fall could mean Ice's death, and they were powerless to stop it. They knew how much the bracelet meant to Aira, as it was a gift from their closest friend.
"You're so weak," Sabrina said emotionlessly.
The royals still couldn't react. Their minds were racing, torn between the risk to Ice and their sympathy for Aira who was so attached to the bracelet.
Aira cried uncontrollably, overwhelmed by anger, sadness, and self-blame.
But to their surprise, one by one, the other precious items belonging to the royalty also burst into flames.
The royals gasped and their eyes widened in shock as they watched their precious belongings start to burn, one by one, just like Aira's bracelet.
Trembling, they all sank to the ground, their balance on the small rock completely forgotten. Their hearts and minds were overwhelmed by the loss of th
eir treasured possessions.
"No, please no," Allira whispered,
tears streaming down her face as she watched her bracelet, also a gift from Almira, slowly being consumed by flames.
"Why, why, Sabrina?" Liander shouted angrily.
Dustine clenched his fists and silently wept.
"You're so evil. We thought you were our friend, but we were all wrong," Sandra said bitterly.
"You are all useless just because of one thing: you sacrificed the life of someone who was important to you, your friend. But you were reckless and careless because of that one thing, you neglected your training, and your leader's life is at stake." Sabrina said coldly, walking towards Ice.
They were filled with anger, sadness, and regret for what happened to them today.
"Why did it have to come to this, Sabrina?" Alira said, crying
"The moment you refused to answer my question, you chose to sacrifice Ice's life. You valued those items more than the life of your leader and friend, Ice. That means his life meant nothing to you."
"You claim to care about Ice, but your actions prove otherwise. This was a test, a lesson. You've failed, and now you must suffer the consequences. But remember, this is just the beginning. There are greater challenges ahead, and you must be prepared."
Sabrina said this as she shattered the barrier surrounding Ice. All the royalty looked at Ice in shock.
Sabrina stared at them emotionlessly. With a snap of her fingers, monsters appeared and surrounded Ice.
"You're sad, hurt, and angry now. Well, stand up and fight these monsters within 15 minutes. If you fail, I will personally kill your leader, Ice, right in front of you. And no power can save him. Fight these monsters! Defeat them without using any of your powers."
"Prove to me that you deserve to be called royalty," Sabrina said.
All the royalty stood up, their gazes filled with anger as they glared at the monsters. A realization hit them: they had a chance to save Ice. The items they had lost, as precious as they were, could not be compared to the life of their friend.
"Use your agility, intelligence, strength, and understanding of your surroundings," Sabrina continued.
Sabrina watched as the royalty slowly rose to their feet and one by one, engaged in battle with the five monsters.
The royalty knew they were weak and tired, but fueled by their anger, they fought against the monsters without using any powers. They relied on their agility, quick thinking, and understanding of their surroundings to strategize against the creatures.
Sabrina was impressed as she watched the royalty push themselves to their limits on the first day of their training.
.
Sabrina smiled as she watched them.
Exactly fifteen minutes lat
er, the royalty had defeated all five monsters.
Exhausted, the royalty collapsed to the ground, but the anger they felt was replaced by joy. They had saved their leader, even though a part of them still mourned the loss of their precious belongings.
"We did it," Era said softly.
The royalty nodded in agreement.
"Well done, royalty," Sabrina said in a cold tone. Everyone looked at her, confusion in their eyes. A sinister smile crept across Sabrina's face.
"Do you think this means you've passed your training?" Sabrina asked,
her voice cold and dangerous.
The royalty stood up, their eyes wide with shock.
To their horror, Sabrina stabbed Ice in the chest.
Blood poured from his mouth.
The royalty was stunned.
"ICE!" they cried.
English Translation:
The royalty cried out in shock.
"They all killed...betrayed by what Sabrina did to Ice!"
Ice's eyes slowly closed as tears streamed down the royalty's faces.
"You're evil!" Dustin shouted, immediately charging at Sabrina. The other royalty followed, but Sabrina remained standing, waiting for them to approach. Just as
Dustin was about to reach her, Sabrina vanished.
"You did a great job," a man's voice said. They turned to see a man standing there, with Sabrina leaning against a wall beside him.
"Ice!"
The royalty exclaimed in surprise, seeing their leader.
They were completely confused by what was happening. The Ice standing before them showed no signs of injury or suffering, unlike the one who had been stabbed by Sabrina moments ago.
"How?" Sandra asked, bewildered.
Ignoring her, Ice addressed the group. "As royalty, you must be brave, strong, intelligent, and agile. You can't be selfish. You must always prioritize the lives and needs of others before your own. As royalty, this is your responsibility."
Ice lectured the royalty on their duties.
Sabrina stood up straight next to Ice. "Your training today was designed to push you to your limits and to see what kind of royalty you truly are," she said coldly. "I know you've learned a lot on your first day of training, but I assure you, it will only get tougher. I have one question for you before we end."
Sabrina paused and looked at them. "On your first day of training, if you had to choose between saving one person's life or the life of humanity, what would you choose?"
The royalty pondered Sabrina's question, discussing it amongst themselves
"I can't... they are both important. But... but if the survival of humanity is at stake, perhaps... perhaps we need to sacrifice him," Aira pleaded.
"But... but how can we say that one life is more valuable than many? We are all equal," Sandra argued.
"No! I won't let anyone die! There are other ways, other solutions!" Ali exclaimed.
"This is a test. We must be strong. If saving humanity means sacrificing one, then so be it. The survival of the realm is paramount," Dustin declared.
"Logically, saving humanity ensures the survival of the most. But the loss of one life... it carries a heavy weight. We must find a way to minimize the loss, to ensure that this sacrifice is not in vain," Leander reasoned.
Sabrina and Ice listened quietly to the heated debate.
Time was up. All eyes turned to Sabrina, awaiting her response.
Now what is your answer sabrina addd
"It's difficult to sacrifice one life for the sake of many, but sometimes it's necessary for the survival of humanity," Dustin had said, a sentiment agreed upon by the royalty.
Sabrina nodded thoughtfully. "As royalty, you should possess critical thinking. You need to save one life before you can save many. If you can't save a single life, how can you save a multitude?"
She continued, "Let today's events serve as a lesson for you all, one that you'll apply in the future at the Crystal Academy. After today's training," Sabrina said, offering a single glass of water, "drink this. It will restore your lost energy." The royalty accepted it gratefully.
"And remember, the important things in your life are still safe in your rooms. And about Ice you saw earlier, that was a hologram. It was from Ice's first day training when he returned to the Crystal Moon Forest. I hope you've learned a lot today. Prepare for tomorrow's training; it won't be easy," Sabrina said, leaving the training room.
