Sandra POV
My gaze shifted to Leander, who was sitting beside me. He was unusually quiet, his eyes fixed on the barrier, a thoughtful expression on his face. I knew Leander was eager to showcase his own power.
"Next, we have the Warrior Prince, Leander," Miss Malaysian announced, her voice echoing through the hall.
The crowd erupted in cheers, many of them shouting words of encouragement to Leander. He rose from his seat, a confident yet determined glint in his eyes. As he walked towards the stage, I could feel the anticipation building within me. Leander's power, Warrior Metal, was unique and formidable.
He had a natural affinity for manipulating metal, transforming it into weapons of incredible strength and agility.
Leander stood before the barrier, his stance poised and ready. The screen displayed his current level: 22. A respectable rank, but I knew he was capable of more.
"Begin, Leander," Miss Alicia instructed.
Leander closed his eyes for a moment, concentrating his energy.
Then, with a swift movement, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, unassuming piece of metal – a coin.
The coin shimmered, then began to elongate, morphing into a sharp, metallic spear. Leander hurled the spear at the barrier with incredible force. The spear struck the barrier with a resounding clang, but it barely left a mark.
Leander didn't falter.
He focused his energy again, and
the spear began to vibrate intensely. It hummed with a low, menacing hum, and then, with a surge of power, it expanded, growing larger and more formidable.
Leander launched the expanded spear once more. This time, the impact was different. The barrier shuddered violently, a large crack spreading across its surface
. The crowd roared with excitement.
Leander, with a satisfied grin, sheathed the spear and stepped back.
The screen updated, revealing his new level: 16.
"Excellent, Leander!" Miss Malaysian exclaimed. "A significant improvement!"
Leander bowed his head in acknowledgment, a sense of accomplishment evident on his face. He returned to his seat, his gaze meeting mine. A silent message passed between us – a shared understanding of the thrill of pushing one's limits.
"Impressive, Leander," I whispered, a genuine smile gracing my lips
Leander simply nodded in response, his eyes still reflecting the intensity of his performance. I knew he was already anticipating my own turn, a competitive spark igniting in his eyes.
"Next up," Miss Malaysian announced, "is Princess Sandra, the Water Princess!"
The crowd erupted in another wave of cheers, but this time, there was a different energy in the air. There was an undercurrent of excitement, a sense of anticipation for what I, Sandra, would bring to the stage.
I rose from my seat, a calm confidence settling over me. As I walked towards the stage, I glanced at Leander. He gave me a small, encouraging smile, and
I knew he believed in me.
I stood before the barrier, the same barrier that had been tested by Alira and Leander. It was still cracked, a testament to their power. But I knew I could do better.
"Begin, Princess Sandra
," Miss
Alicia instructed.
I took a deep breath, focusing my energy. The icy power within me surged, a tingling sensation spreading through my limbs. I raised my hand, and a shimmering, translucent wave of water materialized in my grasp.
With a swift, fluid motion, I launched the wave at the barrier. It struck with a resounding crash, sending a shockwave through the air. The existing cracks widened significantly, and new ones began to form.
But I wasn't finished.
I channeled more power, and the water solidified into a massive ice sculpture, a majestic, icy dragon taking shape. It roared to life, its icy breath freezing the air around it.
With a powerful thrust, I sent the ice dragon crashing into the barrier. It struck with the force of a thousand icy storms, shattering a large portion of the barrier
. The crowd erupted in a deafening roar, their cheers echoing through the hall.
I stepped back, a triumphant smile gracing my lips
. The screen flickered, revealing my new level: 17.
"Princess Sandra!" Miss Malaysian exclaimed, her voice filled with admiration. "A truly spectacular performance!"
I bowed my head, acknowledging the praise. I had exceeded my own expectations. As I returned to my seat, I met Leander's gaze. His eyes widened in surprise, a hint of friendly competition gleaming within them.
Dustin POV
I stepped onto the stage, the cheers of the crowd washing over me. I loved this part. The feeling of power, the anticipation, the thrill of showcasing my abilities.
The screen displayed my current level: 19. Not bad, but I knew I could push myself further.
"Begin, Prince Dustin," Miss Alicia instructed.
I grinned and closed my eyes, focusing my energy on the earth beneath my feet. I felt the ground tremble beneath my command, a surge of power coursing through my veins.
Then, witha dramatic flourish, I raised my hand. The ground erupted, a geyser of earth and rock shooting up towards the barrier.
The crowd gasped as the massive earth projectile hurtled towards its target.
The impact was deafening. The barrier shuddered, cracks spreading like spiderwebs across its surface. Dust and debris rained down, obscuring the view for a moment.
When the dust settled, the crowd erupted in cheers. The barrier was severely damaged, almost completely shattered.
The screen updated, displaying my new level: 14.
"Excellent, Prince Dustin!" Miss Malaysian exclaimed. "A truly spectacular display of power!"
I bowed, taking a moment to bask in the applause. This was what I lived for. The roar of the crowd, the feeling of accomplishment, the knowledge that I had pushed myself to my limits
As I returned to my seat, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. The leveling ceremony was off to an incredible start, and I had a feeling it was only going to get better.
ALIRA POV
I smiled because of the level we reached during our leveling up session. I was also happy that we really learned a lot from Sabrina's 3D training.
I wish she could see us now.
Sandra suddenly said in a sad tone.
I smiled sadly at her. I knew who she was referring to—Sabrina.
"You're right. If only she were here. She's the reason why we've become this strong. She taught us a lot and we learned so much from her,"
I replied.
"I'm sure if she could see us now, she'd be happy with our achievements. And I'm sure she's proud of us, her friends," Leander added.
"Leander's right," Aira agreed. "But let's not dwell on her for now, especially with Ice around. We all know she's taken Sabrina's passing the hardest."
We nodded in agreement.
"Okay, students. The first three royalties truly amazed us. They'll try to crack the barrier, but even if
there's a crack, it will return to normal because it's really strong. It was created by our ancestors and guardians, so students, don't be surprised if the damage done by
the first three royalties disappears," said Aunt Malaysian.
We looked at the barrier and she was right. It was glowing, and the damage we did seemed to disappear automatically. It was truly indestructible.
"Okay, let's continue the leveling now. Let's all welcome here on stage the half-goddess, the
Princess of Light and Darkness!" Aunt Malaysian announced, introducing Aira.
"Argh, really? She has to announce it to everyone?" Aira muttered to herself, and we, the royalties, heard it.
Sandra and I chuckled softly at Aira's reaction.
Aira really hates too much attention, that's why she's uncomfortable going on stage.
"By shadow's might and sun's embrace, let light and dark collide in this space.
Let chaos reign where order once stood, a symphony of power misunderstood."
Aira said
"Aira said, 'Where shadows dance and sunlight bleeds, a battle born of ancient seeds. Let darkness rise, a raven's flight, consume the light, extinguish light. But let the dawn, with fiery grace, reclaim the day,
leave not a trace Of shadows' reign, let light prevail, and darkness' grip forever fail.'
She quickly released her energy towards the barrier. Everyone was astonished by the power she displayed. The smoke cleared,
revealing a long crack in the barrier. Aira, though she hadn't destroyed it like Sandra or the others, had still managed to create a significant crack in the academy's strongest barrier.
The students erupted in
cheers and applause. 'That was spectacular, Princess Aira,' said Tita Mellesian, smiling. 'Congratulations, my dea
r. You've advanced from level 19 to level 13.'
Aira bowed and smiled as she returned to her seat. 'Nice one, Aira,' I said. 'You must have been training extra hard,' Sandra teased.
'Haha, you're crazy. I'm just naturally powerful,' Aira joked.
Aira's POV: '
Okay, for the last royalty member, we have Mr. Ice Zavier. His previous rank was level 10, and he's the most powerful mage in the academy. Let's welcome him to the stage.'
Ice stepped onto the stage and without a word, summoned a massive fireball. The barrier was engulfed in flames, and everyone was silent in awe.
The heat radiated outwards, making some of the students squint. Ice raised his hand, and the fireball intensified, growing larger and more ferocious. He then channeled his power, and the fireball shot towards the barrier with incredible speed.
The impact was deafening. The barrier shuddered violently, and a shockwave rippled through the air. Dust and debris rained down from the ceiling as the barrier buckled under the immense force of the attack.
A collective gasp escaped the crowd as a gaping hole appeared in the barrier, smoke billowing out from within. Ice, his eyes glowing with an intense light, lowered his hand, and the flames subsided.
The silence that followed was broken by a thunderous applause.
The students were in disbelief. No one had ever inflicted such damage on the barrier before.
'Unbelievable,' someone whispered.
'He's truly the strongest,' another student murmured in awe.
Mom
n beamed with pride.
'Prince Ice Zavier,' she announced, her voice booming across the hall, 'you have surpassed all expectations. Your power is unparalleled. You are now officially ranked level 3
After that he went back to his sit
