Ice POV "Ugh, Dustine, cut it out!" "Huh? Can't you just stop your nonsense?" "Jeez, Ali, you're just jealous." "Hey, you two, enough! You're so loud, you're gonna burst my eardrums!" Sandra shouted. "Well, Sandra, you should get used to it. They're always like this, like a bunch of annoying cats and dogs," Aira said. Sigh Why do I always end up in the middle of this? It's so childish. And here I am, about to introduce Sabrina to them. I glanced at Sabrina, and she was looking at me with a raised eyebrow. She seemed amused by the whole thing. I just shook my head and sighed. I was about to lose my cool, so I interrupted them. "Hey, royalty, what do you think you're doing?" They all looked at me. "Ice!" they exclaimed in unison. "100 push-ups," I ordered. "No way, Ice!" they protested. "200 push-ups, now," I said, my voice cold. I knew they'd do as I said. I couldn't let them disrespect my guest. "Sab, let's go to the kitchen," I said to Sabrina. She nodded and we started to leave. But before we could get far, I turned back to the others. "Oh, and don't you dare smile at her like that, Sab's smile is only for me." I said, covering her mouth with my hand. She slapped my hand away. "Mind your own business, Ice!" "Ouch! Why'd you hit me?" I whined. "You're being ridiculous," she said. "I'm just stating the truth," I replied. "Ice Xavier, if you don't stop, I'll make you do 500 push-ups with them," she threatened. I looked at the others, and their eyes widened in surprise. "What? Did I stutter?" I asked coldly. They immediately went back to their push-ups. I turned back to Sabrina and smiled. "Let's go." Meanwhile, Alira and the others were watching us from afar. "Kyahh, who's with Ice? I'm so excited!" Alira squealed. "She's so pretty," Alexandra said. "I think she's the reason why Ice always goes back to the forest," Aira suggested. "But I don't feel any danger from her, so she's probably not the reason why Ice is in danger, right Aira?" Alexandra asked. "Yeah, I think she's a good person," Aira replied. "I think our leader has a crush on her. The way he looked at her and how he softened when she smiled...," Dustine said, shaking his head. "Let's just finish these push-ups so we can meet her," Liander said. Ice POV As soon as we reached the kitchen, I slammed the door shut and turned to face her. I'd been feeling awkward since earlier, but now that we were alone in the kitchen, my nerves seemed to be getting worse. "Tsk, Ice, what's wrong with you?" I muttered to myself. "Sabrina, I'm so sorry about what happened earlier. I didn't mean to see you like that." I said, scratching the back of my neck. "It's okay, Ice. I understand," she replied with a sweet smile. Tsk, why does her voice sound so soothing? I shook my head at my thoughts. There was a moment of silence between us. Then, she spoke, "Ice, don't miss me when the time comes that you can't see me anymore." She said it so casually, looking directly into my eyes. I furrowed my brow and stared at her seriously. "What are you trying to say, Sabrina? Is something bad going to happen? Tell me." I asked, but she just smiled at me. "Sabrina." I was about to say something else when there was a knock on the kitchen door. "Ice," Dustin called out. I coldly looked at them. These guys were really interrupting. "Leader, maybe you want to introduce us to your companion," Liander said. "You two, don't look at Sabrina if you don't want me to burn your eyes out," I said. They quickly averted their gaze from Sabrina but were smirking at me. Tsk. "Oh, our leader is being possessive right now, huh?" Aira said, clearly trying to tease me. Should I punish them again? I thought. "Tsk. If you don't stop, I'll make you run around the entire academy for three days." I said coldly. They widened their eyes in surprise. "No way, Ice," Akiea said. "Fine, Ice. We'll stop teasing, just introduce her to us already," Sandta said, leaning towards Sabrina. Tsk... "She's Sabrina, the Moon Crystal Forest guardian. She's the one who protects me in the forest." I introduced Sabrina. "Hi guys, nice to meet you all. Ice has told me a lot about you," she said sweetly. It was so frustrating. She was so cold and serious with me, but now she was being so sweet in front of They all greeted Sabrina with smiles and hellos. I could see the way they looked at her, and it made my blood boil a little. But Sabrina seemed to be enjoying herself, chatting with them and laughing at their jokes. "So, Sabrina," Aira started, "What's it like being a forest guardian? Does it get lonely out there?" "Lonely?" Sabrina chuckled. "Not at all. The forest is full of life, and I have plenty of company." "Like what?" Liander asked, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, you know, the usual," Sabrina replied mysteriously. "Animals, spirits, and even the occasional lost traveler." "Lost travelers, huh?" Dustin smirked. "So, you're like the forest's fairy godmother then?" "Something like that," Sabrina said with a playful wink that made my stomach clench. We talked for a while longer, and it was starting to feel like Sabrina was part of their group already. "They all greeted Sabrina with smiles and greetings. I saw how they looked at her, and my blood seemed to boil. But Sabrina seemed to be enjoying herself, chatting and laughing at their jokes. "So, Sabrina," Aira began, "How does it feel to be a forest guardian? Are you lonely there?" "Lonely?" Sabrina chuckled. "Never. The forest is full of life, and I have many companions." "Like what?" Liander asked, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, you know," Sabrina replied mysteriously. "Animals, spirits, and sometimes even lost travelers." "Lost travelers, huh?" Dustin said with a smirk. "So you're the fairy godmother of the forest?" "That's right," Sabrina replied with a wink that made my stomach churn. We talked for a long time, and it seemed like Sabrina was already part of their group. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door of our dorm, and we all stopped laughing and talking. It was Ms. Melisian and Ms. Alisha. Sabrina said something that made us look at her. "How did you know?" Sandra asked. "I just know," Sabrina replied and smiled. "Sab," I called her worriedly. "Don't worry, the moment we entered this academy, she already knew I was here. So open the door and let's see what she's going to do or what she's going to say. Just open the door and don't worry," Sabrina said mysteriously, and I just nodded. I looked at Dustin, and he understood what I meant. He stood up and opened the dorm door. The moment Dustin opened the door, a strange energy ball quickly rushed towards us, or rather, towards Sabrina. Our eyes widened in surprise. But Sabrina simply raised one hand and casually caught the powerful energy ball. I thought it was over, but then more energy balls and air swords continued to strike Sabrina. We tried to help Sabrina. But she put up a protective barrier around us. "Sabrina, remove this barrier," I said. But she ignored me and continued to wave her hand, casually deflecting the energy balls and air swords. How strong is she to be able to withstand these attacks so easily? "Guardian of light," Sabrina said in a calm voice, and suddenly her hand glowed, and all the attacks vanished like bubbles. "Woah... what was that?" Liander whispered in awe. "She's so powerful," Akira said. When the light subsided, Ms. Melisian and Ms. Alisha appeared. I was about to ask them why they did that, But Ms. Melisian looked at Sabrina. "Why are you here, Hime?" Ms. Melisian said in a language we couldn't understand again, just like the first time I saw them. "You're going to send me here for a mission anyway, so to save you the trouble, I came here on my own initiative," Sabrina replied. Aira interrupts the conversation between Sabrina and Miss Malaysian. She asks Mom, "Why did you attack Sabrina like that? It's too dangerous for us and for her." Mom replies, "Don't worry, my dear Aira, we were just having fun." Mom continues, "By the way, Alicia and I are here to pick up this naughty guardian. But since she's already here, we don't need to go to the Moon Crystal Forest anymore. We might as well tell you the real reason we needed to bring her back to the academy." Aira asks Miss Alicia and Miss Malaysian, "Why do you need to get Sabrina from the Moon Crystal Forest? Will she stay here at the academy?" Miss Malaysian briefly looks at Aira and smiles. She says, "No, Sabrina won't stay here. She's here to train you for an important mission." Leander asks, "What kind of mission is it, Miss Malaysian and Miss Alicia? Why does Sabrina have to train us? Aren't we strong enough for the mission? We've already succeeded in many missions." Miss Malaysian replies, "This isn't an ordinary mission, Leander. You and the others still have powers you can't fully control, right, Miss Malaysian?" Miss Malaysian continues, "That's why I entrusted Sabrina to train you. She's been using different kinds of powers since she was a child and knows how to control them. I believe she can help you. Alicia and I have other things to take care of, and you need to learn how to be royalty who protect the crystal gems that represent the powers you inherited from your ancestors. You could lose these powers if you can't control them properly. That's why you need to face a big challenge, and Sabrina will help you with that. So starting tomorrow, you'll begin your training with her." Miss Alicia adds, "And Miss Malaysian and I have other things to do. Please take care of Sabrina, Ice, and help her train the royalty. I trust you." Miss Malaysian says this seriously, and I nod. After that, they leave. Allira Pov Woahhh you're so cool Sabrina, you're so amazing! You're so beautiful and so cool and you're so good at using runes! That's probably why the leader has a crush on you. I said excitedly when Mom and Tita Mellisian left. Haha, not really. By the way, your training starts tomorrow, so we'll start early. You should probably rest now. She said in a very calm voice. And she's right, it's getting pretty late so everyone started getting ready for bed. We all said goodnight to each other and went to our own rooms. I was about to say goodnight to her when I suddenly hugged her. "Sabrina," I said in awe. "Be strong and always trust yourself," she whispered to me as she released me from the hug. "How did you know?" I asked in surprise, but she just greeted me with a calm smile. "I just know, Alli," she said, then turned to Ice, who had been staring at her. But that's not what caught my attention, it's when she called me Alli. I remembered a rune master I've been wanting to see again. I miss my childhood best friend. I gave a bitter smile and went straight to my room. Ice's POV "Sab," I called out as she approached me. "Do you want to get some fresh air in the garden?" I asked her. She nodded, so we headed to the garden of our dorm. As we sat on the soft grass, we silently watched the bright moonlight. "Sab," I broke the silence. "Hmm?" she responded, her gaze still fixed on the moon. "Are you okay with carrying such a heavy burden on your shoulders? To train us all?" I asked. She turned to me and gave me a gentle smile. "It's not a burden, Ice. It's a responsibility," she said. I nodded in agreement. "But what if we can't handle it? I thought our powers were enough, but maybe they're not. What if we fail?" I worried. She smiled peacefully at me, calming my nerves. She took my hand. "Don't worry, Ice. You've all come a long way. As the leader of the royalty, you need to be strong. I'm here to guide you and train you further. I have great faith in all of you." I smiled back. "Just remember," she said, "with great power comes great responsibility."
