10 Lilianya slept in. She didn’t usually, but she didn’t feel well. When she got out of bed and stumbled into the main room, she realized she was alone. Paedyn had left. Everything around her blurred. Her eyes couldn’t focus. She stumbled into the kitchen, started the coal, and set her kettle of water on top. Lilianya grabbed the loose tea leaves, put them into a small metal ball with miniature holes, and dropped it into her cup. After a few minutes, the kettle whistled. She poured water into the cup and meandered to her rocking chair. Everything still blurred around her. She had a hard time finding the chair. Dizziness didn’t help. The longer she stood, the dizzier she became. All she wanted was to go back to bed. But it was late. Almost afternoon. She couldn’t stay in bed all day. She
