"Is that all the plan", Rohan raised a brow testingly and she shook her head.
"The rest of the plan is kind of too...hard to say...you might not really allow it", she confessed making him narrow his eyes at her.
"Let me hear it then", he urged.
"You'll have to sell me off to him through a signed contract...for only two months or more if necessary...and I'll kill him with every chance I get", she reasoned out but the look on Rohan's face told otherwise. 'Did she go to far?', she asked herself. This was the first time he looked so worried.
"Isabelle", Rohan called out and she answer for some reason she couldn't explain.
"I knew you'd always love to leave but never like this...promise me you'll be careful", he asked trying to know if she really made her mind to leave..was Leah the problem?
"No it's not like that..besides remember you still owe me a wish", she reminded. If she found her family..she'll leave this place..after all it was in the agreement that an assassin leaves when they decide to except they have no where to go or except they signed the forever document...She was only here because she had no other place to go.
"It's better I start early to plan so tell me..what do you wish for", Rohan questioned a little curious on her wish.
"Promise me you won't let anyone know about this wish", Isabelle tried her luck. She knew Leah could be evil at times..she was just keeping her guard up..if Leah were to know she'll never find her family.
"Ofcourse it's between the both of us", Rohan assured and she exhaled in relief.
"Well..I want to know my real family and leave..you can start from the orphanage..where my records are kept", Isabelle answered his question and Rohan almost looked suprised.
"That's...all", he asked skeptically..when she nodded he let out a sigh and dropping the cup he held he stood up to walk towards her. He stopped a few metres away from her and fondly ran his right hand over her head before walking past her.
"You'll have to do the selling yourself...Kuinn wouldn't accept anything from his enemy and you know that", he told before looking towards the butler he told.
"Provide her with all she'll need feng".
Feng nodded immediately as his master exited the room. As if Isabelle was cursed someone barged into the room full with pride and Isabelle rolled her eyes in frustration. She was sure the news that she was leaving had already reached Leah's ears.
"Oh..look who we have here", Leah's voice resonated in the hall. Isabelle just bowed to show respect wanting to be sold right now at least so she wouldn't have to see this woman's face a hundredth time.
"I heard the news..", Leah informed happily. 'There you go', Isabelle sighed inwardly.
"Your leaving soon...but then just like any other assassin you won't return", she whispered high enough for it to reach Isabelle's ears..but it didn't scare her..not anymore. Nothing like death should scare her..she didn't have someone who'll mourn her...since she was little..death was never a thing to make her flinch. It was the trust of the ones close to her that scared her...maybe she had no one right now by her side but Rohan and Heeret.
....Kuinn's mansion
A man who screamed at the top of his lungs was held by the collar by someone whom everyone feared...it wasn't because of the status or fame...it was his aura and sickness..something they called paranoia disorder.
His inky dark hair disheveled as usual and his eyes fierce as he held the man who made no effort to push him away, all he did was scream.
"Shut up", as soon as his deep voice echoed in the room the man below him went quiet before stammering, "Ma-mast-master...Lord Calhoun!! Have mercy...Mr Brooche has many traps..I couldn't", Calhoun who heard this narrowed his eyes at Lucas..his last best assassinator..'if he couldn't then who will!'. Throwing him aside he sighed and turned to leave straightening his collar and tie.
"That...means I've been forgiven", Lucas tried his luck but then even he expected Calhoun's reply,
"Your fired! You useless knife holders! I would have chosen to do this myself but the impact would be terrible...get out of my sight or I'll show you how to hold a knife!", Calhoun immediately replied and that got the man running for his life...the butler flinched when Calhoun's eyes sited him. He was the Kuinn's one and only butler...trusted to take care of the young master Calhoun who had a sickness that no one could tolerate...all the other butlers had disappeared not even lasting a day with him but Nicholas was the only one who remained till now and the parents decided to have him watch Calhoun..to take his pills everyday but then...even the pills weren't curing it. It only calmed his nerves.
"Nicholas! Come out here! Have you started getting tired of your job?! Why hire a useless knife holder!", Calhoun began.
"Master Calhoun it's an assassin not a knife holder", Nicholas corrected making matters worse...the maids started when they heard Nicholas' words. "He must be crazy..dared to correct their master".
