Beth forgot these messed thoughts and walked in.
Nathan stopped saying the moment he noticed Beth.
“Beth…” Nathan smiled awkwardly. He had learned that he’d better not irritate Beth.
Beth ignored him and walked to Michael. “It’s boring. May I leave?”
It was difficult for Beth to cope with people on such an occasion. And she knew that all of them were pleased and tolerating her because of Michael. Few of them were happy with her here.
And there were no more ways Beth had to change Michael’s mind. She felt it was better to leave now.
“Okay. I’ll send you back.” Michael stood up.
Beth nodded. She didn’t refuse that.
They left from a side door. Michael had called his driver in advance. And his car had been waiting for them near the door.
“Do you want to tell your parents?” Michael ask
