Beth forgot these messed thoughts and walked in. Nathan stopped saying the moment he noticed Beth. “Beth…” Nathan smiled awkwardly. He had learned that he’d better not irritate Beth. Beth ignored him and walked to Michael. “It’s boring. May I leave?” It was difficult for Beth to cope with people on such an occasion. And she knew that all of them were pleased and tolerating her because of Michael. Few of them were happy with her here. And there were no more ways Beth had to change Michael’s mind.
