The forest blurred past us as we raced through the trees, our paws pounding against the earth in a frantic rhythm. The scent of intruders burned in my nostrils, sharp and wrong, setting every instinct on high alert. My brothers flanked me, Leo's midnight fur to my left and Logan's steely grey to my right. We moved as one, a unit forged by blood and bond.
