CHAPTER EIGHT

RED MOON PACK

"Hey man, have you seen Zane" Will asks Steve

"Is he not in his office"

"No, I just came from there"

"Probably went to his Luna"

"Who do you think it is?"

"I don't know, I am also curious"

"I don't get the whole secrecy, I mean she is our Luna, she should be here"

"She is probably an Omega or Rouge"

"But you know is not that shallow, he would accept his mate who ever that is"

"Yeah, I know that too. I mean we all had to grow up so fast after that attack, we were just kids who didn't know what to do everyone waiting for us to fail but we proved them wrong"

"I know what you mean, Everytime I go to the hospital to see my dad the whole thing just comes back. I was just sixteen, a kid but had to step up"

"Do you think he is still alive?"

"Even if he is, he is probably still weak that was one hell of a fight, your dad and the Alpha pit up one hell of a fight so we won't be hearing from him anytime soon"

Steve stood up to go get some water from the fridge and then he felt it a part of dying a bond snapping. He could feel his Alpha slipping away, he turned and looked at Will and he saw that he could feel it too. Dread took over both of them the fear of losing another Alpha in a space of four years, who was going to be their next Alpha. Zane had no kids or siblings.

"What's going on?, where is he?" Steve asked

"I don't know man. What could have happened? was he he attacked? is he back?"

They both hoped that wasn't the case if he was back and was responsible for whatever was happening to their Alpha then they have to get ready for a hell of a fight.

"Zane, Zane" Karen, Zane's mother came into the kitchen calling for her son, she could also feel him slipping away and it scared the hell out of here she couldn't loose her son, she still hasn't gotten over loosing her mate. Loosing her son would be the end of her.

"Luna he is not here" Steve answered her

" What do you mean he's not here, where is my son"

"We don't know too, we were also looking for him" Will answered

"What kind of Beta and Gamma are you?! what kind of friends are you?!" Karen shouted at them.

"Luna we apologize, we also thought he was here but when I went to look for him in his office earlier he was not there so we assumed he we to see the Luna" Will said

"And who is this girl and which pack is she from"

"We don't know Luna" Steve answers

"What do you know? stop standing and go look for my son"

"Yes Luna" the both answered and left the kitchen to look for Zane, Steve gave instructions through the mind link to the Warriors to start searching for their Alpha.

It's been over an hour of them searching for Zane and still nothing, they could not find but they could feel him dying and it scared them the not knowing what is happening or the reason of why he is dying. Steve and Will felt as if they failed as his friends and leaders of the pack to protect their Alpha. Zane may be only 21 years old and only 17 years old when he took over as Alpha, and everyone thought he was gonna run this pack in the ground but he proved them wrong. He may be a child but he fought very hard to make this pack what it is now, his strength is at the same level as Sky the Alpha of Blue Moon pack.

They are two of the most feared Alpha's they are a threat to a lot of packs, was this retaliation as they saw that he was alone and took this as an opportunity to attack, was it Blue Moon pack. This is what Steve and Will have been asking themselves.

'Steve, I found Zane' Karen told him through the mind link

'Where is he?'

'Blue Moon pack'

'What? Why was he there? Did they attack him?'

'They didn't say they only asked that we come and get him and they will explain everything once we get there's

'We are near their border I can just take the Warriors and get him'

'Wait for me I am coming with you'

'Luna the pack is already worried and afraid if we all leave they will be more worried, so please stay'

'Okay, please bring him back soon and if the Blue Moon pack did something to him I won't rest until they are all Dead's

'Yes Luna'

"Guys the Alpha has been found" Steve told everyone

"Where is he? Is he okay" Will asks

"I don't know, right now we have to go to Blue Moon pack and get him"

"Blue Moon pack, what is he doing there? Did they attack him"

"I don't know, and I don't they did anything to him they would have not informed us if they did

BORDER OF BLUE MOON PACK

"Good evening we are here to see the Beta" Steve said

"Wait a moment" the warrior answered and mind linked Rick "You can come in I will take you to him"

"Thank you" Steve said and they followed the warrior.

'But is my son, I can't stay here and wait when I feel him dying'

'I know Luna don't worry we will be back soon'
