He also left the classroom and started to go home when suddenly Olivia slowed down to match Ryan's pace and asked, "By the way,how were your papers,how much do you think you will score?You know I am not curious it's just that I am asking as a formality." Ryan glanced her coldly and said, "Hmm! Right now you just shirked me and said that why was I concerned about you. And now suddenly you are asking me, I think you are not confident in yourself. You are scared that I am going to score better than you,aren't you?" She said, "Nah,not at all, I was just asking as a formality if you don't wish to answer fine." she rolled her eyes "Anyways I am very busy and I shall get going. Bye".

As she came home,she wanted to sleep immediately but she was an orphan so she had no one to look after,her mother died after giving birth to her and her dad who was a cheating scum who married his girlfriend right after his wife died leaving Olivia to fend for herself. Olivia had always lived her life in loneliness, depression and anxiety so she never liked to interact with anyone because she was scared of being abandoned again and all that will be left is loneliness with no one around her. So to survive alone Olivia did a job as a waitress serving food. The job was one of the main reasons she couldn't sleep after returning she had to go to job or she would be fired. She was very exhausted and in urgent need of sleep as she had not slept throughout her exam.But left with no option,she went to her workplace. The manager said that she had to do extra work that day as due to carnival nearby, more customers will be coming at the restaurant. Barely being able to nod she replied, "Ok,but will I get an extra pay for this?".

He said, "No, you will not because it was already mentioned in your contact that you will not get extra pay for your extra hours." In a barely audible voice she mumbled, "It's so unfair". Unfortunately the manager had a very keen hearing and he responded angrily, "If you really think it is unfair you can go to any other restaurant let's me see who will give job to a student". She accented her fate she knew that no one else would give her a job so she quickly apologized and with a tired face she started serving the dishes. After some time, she saw Ryan entering the hotel with a few of his friends. She was afraid that if he saw her, he will tease her and try to bully her for this. So she requested another waiter to serve on Ryan's table but he denied saying "I do not get payed for doing your work.Go and do it yourself." Ryan raised his hand to place his order.The manager told Olivia to go and take their order.She started shivering in fear but slowly took her steps towards him. She covered her face with the menu and asked in different voice,"Your order please".Ryan noticed that she seemed very familiar. Hence he asked her to hand him the menu card so that he could see her face clearly. When she refused to comply he threatened to complain about her to the manager. Left with no choice she handed Ryan the menu and turned her face away from the table but it was useless as Ryan had already seen her. He was shocked by what he saw he couldn't believe that the waitress standing before him was Olivia Bennett. Olivia embarrassingly looked at him and ran away. Ryan's friend commented " What the hell! She didn't even take our order how does this restaurant train it's employees. " Ryan gave him a death glarr which immediately shut him up. He told his friends that he needed to use the washroom and placed the order. Olivia realised that her heart was beating very fast, she ignored it thinking it was due to running. As she was serving the food, she suddenly experienced pain in her heart. Due to the sudden jolt she dropped one of the dishes and spoiled Ryan's shirt. Immediately she was scared and started apologizing for her mistake. Ryan was shocked to see her like this completely different from the slightly cocky girl back at the school but he gently asked, "Are you okay? I don't think you are, maybe you should take some rest this could be also because you have not slept for past few days." But before Olivia could say anything the manager saw Olivia messing this up and he said to Olivia,"How could you be so careless? I gave a orphan like you a job and you couldn't even serve dishes properly. Do you even know how hard it was for me to give a person like you a job?" She immediately apologized and said, "Sorry, I didn't really meant to do it and I am really very grateful to you for giving me a job. If you want I can work for extra hours too. I will pay for it by working extra hours.

Manager apologized to Ryan and glared at Olivia. He whispered in her ears,"How could I forgive you so easily,do you even know how important he is? He is the real owner of this restaurant and also one of the richest man in California. This new piece of information shook Olivia to her core as she didn't know what he would do to her. Ryan noticed that she was no longer the bold, fearless Olivia he knew, her eyes were laced with fear. He was curious as to what exactly did the Manager tell her that she was suddenly so scared. Manager asked Ryan,"Sir if you want I will fire this small employee. She has committed a great sin and she should be punished for it. If you think that it is a lenient punishment,I can tell all tell all my friends not to give her job.

Backed into a corner with no way out Olivia stared at Ryan with innocent eyes. She looked so pitiful, Ryan had never thought that he would ever see her like this.She knew that if she was fired, she would starve to death,she wouldn't be able to pay her home bills, school bills and will eventually not be able to survive in this cruel world. She immediately started begging Ryan to forgive her while she was bent. She felt that her heart was aching so badly that she couldn't even stand now,her heart started to beat fast. Ryan noticed this happening and he told her to get up,but she couldn't get up because of the ache in her heart.Ryan noticed this and held her arms with both of his hands and made her sit in the chair as he sat beside her, he started comforting her. Ryan said, "Listen to me first,no one is going to fire you so stop stressing and relax. " She searched for truth in Ryan's eyes and finally relaxed after realizing he was not lying.Ryan asked why were you so scared of losing your job?If you leave this job,you will get another one and first of all trust me no one's gonna fire you and I think you should go to hospital. I think you unwell, let's go to hospital now. Before they could leave the Manager said,"Sir, please don't bother yourself with this poor girl.She is just a bi*** and she doesn't deserve this care she doesn't know how to do anything, she just knows how to spoil things,maybe that's because she is living alone. No one would care even if she died on the road.

Ryan immediately replied angrily"Just shut your mouth! How dare you speak about her like that you are fired. Pack your stuff and leave my place immediately".

Manager started apologizing, "I didn't really meant to hurt you I was just talking about this girl, I didn't know you would get hurt because of this,I am really sorry".Ryan said"No means no! I hate people who can't respect others." After the manager left them alone,Ryan looked at Olivia. She was sad, embarassed, hungry and sleep deprived. Her eyes were filled with tears. Ryan told Olivia to go to hospital with him but she said,"Ryan there is no need to waste your time on someone like me who was even abandoned by her parents. I am okay, please don't bother yourself and sorry for ruining your expensive shirt,I can't pay for your expensive shirt I can only say sorry and you don't really have to bother yourself with taking me to the hospital. I am okay it's alright."

She immediately stood up, though her heart was still paining she started to serve the dishes to customer, anyone with eyes could see that she was struggling to serve but controlling herself.Ryan noticed all of this by sitting beside window and watching Olivia struggle to serve. He pitied Olivia. As she was returning to the kitchen she fell on the floor. Ryan immediately stood up and picked Olivia up from floor. He carried her in his arms and took her to nearest city hospital. Olivia was barely in control of her senses but still mumbling"Why are you bothering yourself? It's nothing. It's just a minor issue."He told to keep her mouth shut so that he can focus on his driving. When they reached the hospital, the doctor started examining Olivia
